Our Story
Growing up she had always loved the kitchen. However, it wasn’t until later in life that she grew to love baking and treat decorating. From working on the casino for 8+ years as a slots supervisor and later transitioning into security, finally settling in law enforcement, she discovered her hidden talent. One day, on her off time she decided to play around and make strawberries, another day she decided to play around with a cake, and from there it just kept going with each time better than before. In 2017, she decided it was a passion that she wanted grow and established Special Joy’Casions. She dedicated much of her free time to the kitchen baking and decorating cakes and other treats until she began her battle with Lupus. It is with sad hearts that she lost her battle in April 2021, but with happy hearts that her legacy and passion will live on.
